We met at the Interior Design Faculty at Politecnico di Milano in 2010, after the Bsc degree Maykol Andreotti stays in Milan and Chiara Centrone moves to London.
“After the degree and the first working experiences we both were in a state of professional dissatisfaction; we were not able to get into the design world we wanted. This is why we decided to make up something that was our own: a creative window which could bring a new air, not just to us.”
We both work full time for design studios specialized in interiors and graphic, but, at the same time, we bring on this personal project with passion and devotion, through our articles we want to make the design world accessible to everyone and break up its typical trait of exclusivity.
I was born in Sondrio, I studied between Milan, where I live and work, and Turin. I am an art historian, researcher, archivist, touristic guide, string dyer and astronaut. My colleagues and I got convinced our passions for art and antiquities were born thanks to Indiana Jones and Mickey Mouse movies. Instead the love for contemporary art has exploded at the former Tobacco Squeegees in Città Castello, when I found out that Burri and Piero were anything but compatible.
